Would love to win the homespun material. Right now I have my eye on the Christmas and the Autumn Spice colors…Thinking of mixing them up and making a Christman quilt. Thought I might use scraps of batting for my Santa’s and Snowmen on some blocks and then use the homespun as blocks in between. I have the patterns for the santa’s, snowmen, mittens and stockings just need to decide which colors of homespun I need to order. I’ve made alot of placemats out the homespun scraps and love all the different colors….Glad I finally found a place to get my fill of homespun….Diane

My first look at the Red Delicious made me want to eat some candy! My second thought was that they’d make great Christmas designs, maybe a tree skirt. The Ginger Blue makes me think of an adorable baby boy blanket.

  12. Mary Wayment says:

I have been a quilt collector for many years. My favorite quilts in my collections are the ones that came out of the north mid west. They have lots of plaids, turkey reds and bright but warm colors. Now that I have recently retired, I have time to make my own scrappy quilts. I am taking a class this summer and I need homespun fabrics to make scrappy stars. I looked all over the Los Angeles area for homespun fabric. I didn’t have much luck. I would love to win your bright homespun fabric to make my quilt!!!!

  13. Thanks for updating us on your new arrivals! I truly love them all, but especially Red Delicious! :) I would make some Christmas rag style throw pillows for the couch, and perhaps a raggy table runner or placemats for my beautiful Amish table (that my wonderful hubby bought me last year. Maybe I’d even attempt a Christmas rag quilt (king size) for my Amish bed! Love this color combo!!! Thank you…Shannon
