I have loved buttons since I was a little girl. My mother had a tin that she kept extra buttons in. She would never throw away anything that had buttons on it until she cut the buttons off and put them in the tin. I used to love to sit and finger those buttons. Over the years she accumulated a lot of buttons. She passed away in 2003 and I now have that button tin. Sometimes I still like to sit and finger those buttons. It takes me back. Lots of fond memories.

    • Roxine says:

my grandmother had a tin like that and I loved her buttons. Today I still cut the buttons off of anything if it is all used up. If I’m sending it to Salvation Army I don’t but everything else is fair game. Love to hear that. Very special buttons.
