Puppy Love {Bling}

Do you know what goes great with bling?  Fur, of course!

Bling out your favorite furry friend with our dog or cat paw prints.  These paw print iron on transfers look great on bandanas or doggie shirts.  Or you can use them to embellish dog beds, placemats for your cat’s food, or one of your own shirts in honor of your precious pet.

Our X-Small Alphabet Letters are a great way to add your pet’s name with the paw print!  These letters are small enough to use on some dog collars and leashes.  Get your pooch ready for the big game by making a bandana with your favorite team name and our #1 Fan iron on transfer.  And, of course, your loyal pooch deserves a some special wedding day bling — especially if your dog is your ring bearer!  We’d love to see pictures of your furry friend modeling Jubilee Rhinestones bling.  Send your pet pics to and you may see your picture featured on our facebook page!

Don’t forget your furry friends this Christmas!  Decorate their stockings with bling!

Jubilee Loves… Our Customers!

We love our customers!  Well, obviously we love our customers — we wouldn’t be in business without you!  But it’s fun to see what happens to our homespun fabrics after they leave our shelves.  You guys are so creative!
Here are two ways customers are using Jubilee Fabrics in their own businesses:

Renee uses our homespun fabrics to make beautiful handmade rag wreaths in her beach-side home.  Her wreaths come in a variety of colors and styles — each one is unique and would be a striking addition to any front door.

You can view more of Renee’s Rag Wreaths in her Etsy store, RagWreathBoutique.  She’s got several Autumn inspired wreaths if you’re looking for a quick fix for your front door this Fall.

One of our newer customers with a unique product is Dandy’s — The Gentleman’s Store. In their own words, Dandy’s is “a haberdashery that creates custom made, turn of the century inspired gentleman’s garb — specializing in 1870′s-1930s men’s suiting.”

I had to google “haberdashery” and learned that a “haberdasher” is someone who deals in men’s clothing and accessories.  And now I’ve added a new word to my vocabulary!

Husband and wife team, Christopher and Wendy, dreamed up the idea for Dandy’s while planning their wedding in 2009.  They now have a wide selection of dandy items on their dandysuit website.  Check it out!  It’s a unique, interesting site to browse!  You can find some Jubilee Homespun Fabrics as options for their dandy shirts.

Now you know what two of our customers do with Jubilee Fabrics — what’s YOUR favorite thing to make with homespun fabric?

Plan Now, Relax Later

It’s that time of year again.  The time of year that separates the Planners from the Procrastinators.

The Planners already know what they are giving everyone for Christmas and have probably already completed a few homemade gifts.  They’ve sewn a Christmas Tree Skirt and are almost done sewing all the Christmas Stockings for this year’s mantle.  Autumn decorations have adorned their houses for a couple weeks already.  Way to go, Planners!

The Procrastinators haven’t even thought about Christmas yet.  Thanksgiving is also too far away to plan.  In a couple of weeks, they will hastily throw together some Autumn/Halloween decorations and resolve that next year they’ll start decorating earlier.  I’m not judging the Procrastinators — I know exactly how a Procrastinator thinks because I lump myself in this group.

To my fellow Procrastinators — it’s not too late to become a Planner!!  Start your holiday sewing projects now and save yourself from all the stress of doing things at the last minute.

We’ll even help you get started!  All of our Christmas Homespun Fabrics AND Christmas Patterns are on sale through Sunday, October 14th.  Buy now, sew now, and you’ll be able to relax and enjoy your beautiful homemade Christmas decorations in December.

I need to take my own advice and get started on all the Christmas projects I have in my head.  I’ll be facing a busy, busy December if I don’t!

Jubilee Loves… Saving Grace, Inc.

Your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundation of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach; the restorer of streets to dwell in.”  Isaiah 58:12

Jubilee Creative Studio is proud to support Saving Grace, Inc in Rogers, AR.  Saving Grace is “a Christ-centered safe harbor offering acceptance, restoration, and hope to young women of Northwest Arkansas, preparing them for independent living.”  Young women who have graduated out of the foster care system or for whom independent living is not currently possible can find supportive relationships and life education at Saving Grace.
In their own words, Saving Grace exists “to help these young women unlock doors of opportunity, security and hope through transitional living, independent living education, educational assistance, and supportive relationships.  More importantly, we encourage these young women to deepen their faith, strengthen their resolve and learn to trust others–hopefully in response to a relationship with a trustworthy Saviour.  We hope that in our endeavors to bring hope to our community that we will challenge other communities across our nation to “repair the breach and restore the streets.”"

“Repair the breach and restore the streets” — a mission we should all strive to achieve.  Saving Grace is saving lives and promising Hope to young women who desperately need it.  We are proud to be a supporter of this ministry.  Visit their website to learn more about what they do and how you can get involved.  And check out their blog, The Beauty of Saving Grace, for stories of how God is using Saving Grace to change the lives of young women in Northwest Arkansas.
